Program Support + Training
Axion Health provides a wide range of support and training services to ensure that our programs are easily administered and easy to use by various personnel in different industries and roles within our customer’s organizations.
Client Administrators and Program Managers
Client Administrator training is performed using the following methods and materials:
- Classroom training with hands-on use of the Web-based management tool
- Full Online User Guide
- Hardcopy Quick Start instructions for each operational task
- Live Webinars to supplement and perform training updates when needed
Training consists of, but not limited to:
Program overview
- Instructions on general use of the Web-based management tool
- Employee Enrollment and Customer Support
- Scheduling of Services
- Medical Reviewer Prescribing Process and Customer Support
- Adverse Event Reporting
Program Oversight
- Tracking, monitor and troubleshooting all aspects of the program
- Enrollment
- Medical reviews
- Prescription fulfillment
- Vaccine administration
- Fit-for-duty reviews
- Other services
- Escalation procedures
Client Administrators receive a full packet of training materials, including username and password for access to the Web-based management tool, as well as user guides for program management.
Client Employees
Employee training of the enrollment process is conducted in conjunction with the parameters established for the client-specific Employee Communication Plan. The employee communication packet typically includes a step-by-step user guide that walks the employee through the health assessment process for themselves and any dependents. Clients may also choose to conduct presentations on this process as a part of their corporate outreach plans.
Medical Personnel
Clinician training is performed using the following methods and materials:
- Live Webinar with hands-on training
- Online Quick Start instructions
- Full Online User Guide
- Hardcopy Quick Start and full user guide
Because clinicians may be geographically dispersed, Axion Health conducts medical reviewer training with the use of live Webinars in conjunction with hands-on use of the application. Training typically consists of:
- Program overview, timeline and expectations from providers
- Instructions on general use of the Web-based tool
- Instructions on system clinical decision making tools
- Communication tools
- Documentation of telephonic, in-clinic or event encounters
In advance of Webinars, Clinicians receive a packet including the following:
- URL for training
- Username and password
- Hardcopy “Quick Start” and full user guide
Following the instructive session of the training, each clinician has the opportunity to login and perform medical assessments in our training environment with access to Axion Health training staff for individualized assistance and Q&A. Follow up Webinars are provided when significant changes are made to a program or to the Web-based tool.
